Kira Shiina and T were looking to have a wedding invitation done to announce their happy engagement. We worked together to conceptualize and pick the final design that perfectly represented the organic and tasteful qualities of their personalities.

From the beginning of our conversations, the couple expressed that they were looking for some options that felt young but fresh and preferably minimal. We decided to try some ideas that ranged in what they defined as clean and moderate, to get a sense of where their preferences were. I explored concepts that included an arch shape originally; it was something the couple were drawn to early on in the process. We also tried some ideas that highlighted the trendiness of the young couple, who had met while studying dance.

The final design settled on a clean, center-aligned invitation that was printed on a toothy card stock.
